Glass at the Museum
Unit D, Shelf 2 is the special section of our Artifact Storage Room where most of the glassware that isn’t already on exhibit is kept. The West Virginia Mine Wars Museum has a growing collection of rare glass works, from treasured household items passed down through families to throw-away soda bottles found on the Blair Mountain battlefield.
